We can’t recommend Gus highly enough, he’s amazing. Without him, we would never have been able to buy the house we love. Gus was recommended as “the best in the Inner West” and after one phone call we could see why. He was generous with his knowledge, incredibly insightful about the market and instantly understood our brief. We knew he’d add so much value to our search and it turned out he was invaluable.

As first home buyers we were excited to look at houses, so we engaged Gus to help us with the negotiation, but it felt like he went way beyond that. He was with us at property inspections when we were interested, helped us evaluate the pros and cons and gave detailed valuations. Ultimately, he was our expert sounding board (around the clock) which always gave us the confidence we were making the right decision.

Then came the house we now own. Gus knew about it off-market, but it was probably going to be over our budget as it was freestanding, plus everything we wanted! It hit the market officially on a Saturday and we bought it the following Thursday (within budget!). But it wasn’t that easy, bids came in Thursday morning after the second viewing. For the next 9-hours Gus kept the estate agent from accepting the rival offers and turned around incredibly detailed due diligence. We mean everything. Talking to the builder who did the report, knocked on every neighbour’s door, worked with our solicitor on the contract changes — and so much more.

Amongst all that he formed a financial strategy to negotiate with the agent and vendor and beat three other bidders (with their own buyer’s agents) and by 6.30pm Gus had secured the property for us. Unbelievable, that morning we didn't think it was possible. Like we say, we wouldn’t have got a dream home to raise our kids without Gus. Not only is he an amazing buyer's agent, he’s also an incredibly nice person too.
